Delivery Information

Our standard delivery service in the UK is Royal Mail 1st Class, a signature will be required upon delivery. If needed and both parties agree your order can be sent unsigned for and left in a safe place, this however is done at the risk of the customer and The Hat Shop, Burnham Market will not be liable if the parcel goes missing upon delivery. We always aim to despatch goods within 1 working day of the payment being cleared, when selecting Royal Mail 1st Class as your chosen delivery method you can expect to receive your items within 2-4 working days, this can vary throughout the year with possible delays during the Christmas period from November to Late December. We use Fed Ex for all UK mainland next day deliveries where possible. Your order must be placed by 11.30am for delivery on the next working day. All Deliveries will be between the hours of 7am and 6pm; we are unable to confirm a time.

The Hat Shop, Burnham Market will select the most appropriate carrier for your goods. This means your delivery may arrive in more than one batch to ensure your order is transported in the best possible way.

Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and The Hat Shop, Burnham Market shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date. The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer upon delivery of such goods to the customer.

International items will be sent via Royal Mail using the most appropriate method depending on the destination country. Mainland Europe will be sent using International signed for and will require a signature upon delivery, usually delivery will be within 10 working days. USA, Australia and all ROW addresses will be sent using Royal Main Airsure, delivery times will vary from 7 - 21 days depending on destination and customs, please feel free to contact us by phone or email for a more accurate estimate for your country. Although a rare occurrence any customs charges will be the sole responsibility the customer

If you need to return a product purchased from The Hat Shop - Burnham Market then you have 21 working days to do so. The returned goods must be in a resalable state and any goods or accessories that accompany the returned product must also come back to us.
The goods should also be returned with their original box, packing and accessories and the cost of returning a product is the responsibility of the customer unless faulty, please see below. For your own peace of mind and to make sure we receive the goods, please be sure to send with a service offering a signature upon delivery.

If the return is for an exchange The Hat Shop will send the replacement out free of charge to the customer.

*If the return is due to missing or faulty parts then we will offer a full refund or replacement provided we are aware of this within 10 working days. Any refund, which is due to a fault or other defect, will include a refund of the applicable delivery charge.

Force Majeure, The Hat Shop, Burnham Market shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
